Jodi
Heim
Jodi Heim has been in the cosmetology industry for going on thirty years and continues to be as committed and passionate in the industry as she was from the beginning. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State University in individualized studies and has an eclectic background that ranges from roles in education, business and a working stylist. She owned and operated a full-service salon and spa for seventeen years, worked as an educator for a recognized haircolor company for over thirteen years, was the Director of Cosmetology Education at MSC Southeast Cosmetology in Winona MN, and the owner of Three in 1 LLC. a speaking, writing and consulting company. Jodi looks forward to continued success in her field and inspiring and leading others to living their greatness.

Dennis
Taylor
Dennis Taylor has demonstrated a passion for teaching since he began as a preschool swimming instructor when he was 16. During his career in the hair industry, Dennis has provided training in a variety of venues ranging from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis, Aveda Congress in Minneapolis and New York City to the Juut Training Salon as well as in numerous settings regionally, nationally, and internationally. Currently, as an Trainer on behalf of Davines, he provides in-salon training several times a month while maintaining a full book working behind the chair. Dennis connects with salon professionals using humor and a open-format, communicative teaching style that encourages an exchange of ideas which reaches all learning types. Since graduating from the Aveda Institute in 1992, Dennis has established a career that includes working behind the chair, salon owner, assisting guest artists, platform work, editorial work, education, and his current roles of stylist and trainer based in St. Paul, MN.

Gina
Nguyen
Gina Nguyen has been in the beauty industry for going on twenty years. She attended Riverland Community College and completed her Cosmetology degree in 2003. She has worked in the salon as a stylist behind the chair, a nail technician and most recently has become the owner and manager of Lotus Nail Salon in Rochester Minnesota.
She prides herself in building and caring for a team of professionals that not only deliver great service but enjoy their work and workplace. Gina is a natural leader, skilled nail technician and a well-educated professional committed to growing others.

Pfeiffer
Carrie holds a deep personal passion for products, amazing ingredients, and transformative services. Carrie graduated from Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and has been licensed as an esthetician for over twenty years. Her professional beauty career history includes practicing as an esthetician, business consulting and development, national account management and education. She has worked with Dermalogica, Revlon Professional, Glo Skin, Massage Envy and Image Skincare. She brings her real-world knowledge of the beauty business and creates Customer centered results that sell.

Julie
Evans
Julie Evans, BA, MA, Licensed Advanced Practice Esthetician Salon Manager, AP Esthetician Instructor, CIDESCO.
An expert in the beauty industry for over 25 years, Julie began her career working as a makeup artist and counter manager for multiple cosmetic companies in Minneapolis and Beverly Hills. In 2010 she received her license and for 8 years, provided AP esthetics at Wave Salon. From 2018-2021, she worked as a provider and business owner of Julie Evans Esthetics.
After receiving her instructor’s license and becoming a CIDESCO diplomate, in 2013 she began teaching in the esthetics department at Saint Paul College where she created and taught the first Advanced Practice Esthetics program in the state of Minnesota. Julie has worked closely with the BCE as a member of the advisory committee for the Advanced Practice license, the development of the practical skills tests for eyelash extensions and AP esthetics, with PSI test development, and has taught several continuing education classes through the Salon Spa Association of Minnesota.
In 2021, after 8 years of teaching at Saint Paul College, Julie made the switch to corporate America and became the Director of aesthetic education for chapter studios, a national med-spa chain. Missing being a service provider and working with students, in October 2022 she started her own aesthetics education consulting business and joined Kimber Esthetics in Minneapolis, where she is thrilled to continue providing her clients with, “Exceptional Service. Effective Results.”
